question about ripping apart lcd screen

I know this might be a repost it or a retarded qt but i need to make sure before i start.

Ok i am going to buy a 7" lcd headrest and rip out the screen panel with rca connection. My question is do i need another controller for the screen to power it or use what is there and connect thur sig lighter.

Sorry i know this might be a retarded question but i don't want to rip apart a lcd screen if i cant do what i want to

This LCD is not the XENARC Item ( to poor to buy it)

You'll just need to feed power/ground/ and a video signal to it in most cases.
