At night, a simple LCD TV also reflects on the windscreen, but at daylight (even sunlight) it wont't be visible.

I went to a BMW service to watch the new HUD technique. It was quite good, giving the illusion of a far floating display.
It uses a reflectory mirror AND a very strong LED enlightment.

I wanted to reproduce it but was unable to produce such an optical system...
Additional problem, it reflects double in my windscreen. At BMW I was told, there is no need for a special glass...

One of the possibilities can be to use a monochrome display from a 3-way projector (that has a high contrast) and the electronics...

Corvette has a hud (heads up display) and you can sometimes find it on ebay.

I think that it is just a screen that is directed towards the windscreen.

I do not know how to interface it, but that should not be too difficult. More difficult to mount it.

What would be really interesting would be if picture could be focused in the distance....

I find on ebay it items but I dont know what is interface protocol... if I find some specs of them.
Put this on my console is very simple
