Question [lilliput] what plug is this?

Can anyone tell me what the black plug is?
It's from the EBY701 model.

I bought this used and it didn't come with a manual.

Thanks.

Thanks.

There should be RCA (yellow/red/white) and then the VGA signal and maybe an svideo depending on sub-model.

On mine the black cable is bigger and another cable screws into it with the ends for all the sources.

That black cable you're talking about is different. I have that one too.

It's definitely not an Svideo plug.

Oh ok looking back at the picture (it is hard to tell because it is such low quality...) but that is the DC jack.

So there's an AC jack AND a DC jack??

Sorry for the low quality pic. It's a phone cam in bad lighting.
I'll try to get better pictures later.

There is no AC jack. The monitor takes DC only. The AC wall adapter spits out a DC voltage that uses that jack.

alright, here are some better pictures.

this picture shows the bundle of cables hanging from the back of the monitor

this picture shows the power connector plugged straight onto the board.

So they made two connections for power?

My Lilliput manual says (not the 701 by the way)

"Black: RCA for DC12V Input"
"White: SVideo Input"
"Yellow: RCA for Video1 input"
"White: RCA for audio input"
"Red: RCA for video 2 input"

Yep, apparently some lilliput models have two power connectors. I have no idea why, but my 629GL is the exact same way. Since I have mine mounted in the dash, I just use the one on the cable.

The EBY701 does have 2 power jacks... On 3 of my EBY701s I use the black one that hangs off, but on the 4th it was more convenient to use the power port on the screen. I like having the option. The one on the cable tends to fall out easily if you have to work with it in tight places.

thanks fellas!!!

Alright new question but no pics.

I have a cable; one end looks like a headphone plug and the other end is some sort of an IR sensor. And it's very long; I'd say about 10ft.

adding a couple pics for the above question: "I have a cable; one end looks like a headphone plug and the other end is some sort of an IR sensor. And it's very long; I'd say about 10ft."

Yeah it is an IR device. By itself it is useless. It should not have come with the screen, maybe with the PC.
