P0701A - 7" Motorized Touchscreen schematics

I bought this unit from ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=110327581651) but when I got it the screen wouldnt close properly.

I emailed the supplier and they sent me out a replacement part, but in the process of replacing it I seem to have caused more damage :-(

Does anyone have any schematics or know how to repair these units.

Hi Alain, I am going to ask the seller for a copy of the full schematics and will let you know if I get them.

What sort of issues are you having??

Perhaps we can help each other?

Now I am using another monitor.
The problem I experienced with the 701 was it began to close itself and shutting down.
I opened it and found a desoldered wire but after fixing, when I was making some tests with the chassis open, I shorted something and the display went permanently black.
Hope you succeed in getting the schematics and share it with those who have a broken unit in the drawer, and I think they are many.

Thanks for that Alain.

I am having a similar problem in that the screen will open OK, but wont close properly. Its out of sync and jams.

They sent me a replacement part but when I opened up the case I pulled it too far and the ribbon cables came out.

I also noticed that a part IC3 had snapped off completely. I resoldered it but the screen now is completely white!!!

I have emailed the company and will see what they say.

Cheers.
