Amperage for Lilliput 10.4in Monitor

Hello

I need a power adapter for a Lilliput FA1042-TV/C/T monitor but can not find the required amperage for it. I know it is a max of 13w at 12v DC but no specs tell me the amps.

Thanks

well if the max is 13w, then you can work it out.

P=VI (power = volts x amps)

13w = 12v x I

I = 13 / 12

therefore the current required is just under 1.1 amps

Thanks for the reply. I must have forgotten that formula from my high school physics days

I found a site after, the only site I could find, that says what the amperage is for that monitor.

http://smallandquiet.blogspot.com/20...creen-lcd.html

being 1.5A or 1500mA. Apparently most, if not all, Lilliput monitors use the same power supplies.
