So, I'm starting a new car pc project to go along with my new project car.

I'm looking at the Fujitsu Stylistic tablets, but I'd really like to just use the screen, and not the computer.

Has anyone done any tinkering with using an external VGA controller so that I can just cannibalize the screen and use a regular PC with it?

I'm about to pull the trigger on a 4021 on eBay right now, but the processor and memory is way too anemic.
