So in my
1st post, I asked about AZDisplays, but really, I should have asked about the panel first, then I'd look for places that sell 'em.
Does anybody have experience w/ Prime View panels? I tried searching the boards, but didn't see much.. I initially thought maybe one of the brighter xenarc (702 or 706TSV) panels would be a good choice, but even with the outer frame removed, with the control board & buttons, it's too big to fit.
I saw some decent panels on "LCDOnlineStore"... but wasn't sure about the interface. Turns out, most of what they list is just raw panels, but the size...
7", outer dimensions of 165x104mm and only 5.8 mm thick! Granted, that's just a panel, but they have kits that include the power supply and input conversion (ie: VGA, s-video to the TTL stuff) for about $100 more than the panel.

I saw this pic and thought "wow, that's perfect!"
Still not certain a 7" screen will work, might have to go for a 6.4", but the specs on this thing are great:

for $270 + $100 for the interface/cables... seems like a good deal, no?
(see my other post re: where I want to put this thing...)
