I've found this screen on the net, Xenarc 840TSV, which cost about 279US$.
On one hand it's seems like a good quality screen.
On the other hand, I found other screens, like this one which are much cheaper, ~100US$ less.

Is the "no-brand" screen is such a risk to buy (low price = low quality)?

With electronics, the rule of thumb is "you get hat you pay for".

Buying a no-name screen from EBay is a risk, to be sure. Some have gone that route and are satisifed. Others have been burned.
Is it worth the risk? That's up to you?

Here's a branded screen, Shark with samsung panel, that cost 162US$.
What Xenarc 840TSV have that cost ~100US$ more? Its name?

I'm in a search of a good 8" screen and the range of prices seems to be too big.
