In dash GL701 LCD printed flex cable

Long story short...the LCD cable broke due to short circuit

a. Where can i find a replacement cable?

b. Can I use a regular 30 pin FCC (flex cable)

c. If anyone is interested on buying this, i'll give it up for 200...everything else is working...comes with remote...good as a replacement for broken GL701 since it only needs the LCD cable.

I'm abandoning the carpc project. Thinking of going for a new car with navi system.

Thanks in advance for any advise.

Actually it's not that high...i was ready to go down as 150 but i managed to fix it...DigiKey is the key....i bought the 30 pin flex cable for $8 plus shipping...Voila screen good as new again for less than 20 bucks.
