Question Making the RGB signal stronger?

Well I recently got a Psone LCD that only works on RGB sadly :/

Now I have got this to work with my VGA output but the signal is a little weak and the colors look washed out as I have to put up the brightness a lot to see the image

Now I managed to get it looking a little better by connecting the sync to the RED input buy resisting the current so it’s not to bright. “see pic”

before sync mod

After

But this is just a quick fix and I would like to boost the RGB signal so it looks better.

Dose anyone know how to do this?

Oww and hi by the way

you just made it known that the screens can be hacked to vga input using the rgb, always could have been possible, but I don't think I've heard of anyone trying yet.

Did you make solder connections? Can you take a pic of where the VGA signal is inputted in to the LCD?

It wasn’t that hard really

I took the RGB from pins 1,2,3 on the VGA card and connected them to RGB pins 9,11,12 on the LCD

Then I took the H sync and V sync pins 13,14 on VGA and joined them together and then connected them to pic 6 on the LCD

Obviously I connected ground to pin one

And last but not lest I connected a resister to the red input then I connected the V and H sync to the resister.

Set the card to run at 15ohm and that was it

here it is in windows

but i really need to know how to boost the RBG signal

This has made my day as I have a 5.6inch composite screen fitted in my 2001 celica connected to my eden via the tv-out. Its ok with some serious larging of the fonts and use of myHTPC but something a bit clearer that would still fit would be good.

If you could provide step by step details on how to hook up one of these PsONE screens to a 15pin monitor cable that would help me and I would imagine lots of others
