Now before I put my carpc back into my car I had the dash and everything sitting in my room hooked up without a problem. I did notice a slick flicker(and what I mean by this is that there are lines that keep flashing on the screen and the txt is a little blurry) but nothing much. Now that its in my car the screen always has these faint lines flashing on it and its real blurry. To me its not my cable, its a 35ft Triple Shielded vga cable used for like a projector in a room. I'm thinking maybe something needs to be grounded better but I am not sure what. Any ideas cause I don't know what could be causing this.

sorry, lots of questions: what kind of monitor is it? how is it powered? did you use the included power filter if it was a lilliput?

all of these can contribute to lines in the picture.

Its the newer Lilliput like 701 or something like that. I have it running threw the cig lighter only because It had that power filter thing on it so I thought it would be ok. Its not the monitor because when its on the blue screen showing no input it is perfect. I think it is something to do with my mobo cause I also hear some funky noises coming from my speakers when there is no music playing as well.

ok, double check your grounds to the carcomputer.

35 feet is a really long way. If better grounding doesn't help, try a shorter, good quality cable.

Yeah I got the cord a long time ago before I had done much research but I would think being triple shielded would take care of any problems. I am considering trying to fit it in my dash and just re-wire everything instead of poking every possibility to figure it out. If my mobo will fit in the center behind everything my only question is what to do for the ground. The best solution I can think since its all the way up there is to run it back to the battery, is this OK?

AHhhhhh this is driving me crazy.....I CANT get the stupid flickering to go away. Its now in a normal computer case with the case grounded and its STILL THERE. I know its not my cable, I took my laptop outside and didn't have a single problem with that cable hooked up to it. The car is not even started and the screen has the problem...I don't know what else to ground.

I have the same problem with the same monitor. I have mine connected with the psu (M4-ATX), and still have some. It got a lot worse when connected directly with the battery even with the power filter connected.
The problem is 100% noise in the power lines, since when i connected it with an external power supply the picture was perfect.
My next step is to install a noise filter in series with the power line.
I post back with the results.

An LC noise filter made it's job, now the picture is more stable and clean.

Your going to get vga issues with any M2/M4 PSU...not to mention PCI audio issues.
OP, are you using a M2/M4??

Yes I use M4-ATX psu.

The interference I had were 100% generated from the M4, since when i tried to power on the monitor from an external psu, the picture was perfect.

Now I just connected an LC noise filter in series between the M4 output and the monitor input.
