TM-701L screen, cut off

hi, I have the digitalww.com 7" indash.
I am using windows 2000 pro, and the top of the desktop is cut off. Actually even from booting the top is cut off. Is there any way or program to adjust the windows desktop size?

i've heard the name "powerstrip" come by. Does that program handle this?

powerstrip will not work with the onboard graphics on the EPIA motherboard. This is due to Via not creating drivers that will let powerstrip perform the way it needs to.

If you want to set up a custom resolution you will need to use a PCI graphics card. Please note that it seems that the Nvidia GeForce 4 MX will not work with powerstrip either - however other Nvidia cards do work. The only ATI cards that will work with powerstrip are the Radeon ones.

I suggest you research this area carefully before spending any money on a graphics card. This is what is blocking me from building a car pc myself.

Which graphics cards are supported by TVTool?
All nVidia based cards are supported from TNT-1 to GeForce 4. (It is not planned to support other cards like S3 or ATI so far!)

Exception GF4-MX:

Usually the TV-chip is a single independent chip on the graphics card from a third party manufacturer like Conexant. These are supported by the tool. But with the GF4-MX nVidia introduces an own TV-chip NV17 which is integrated in the VGA chip and which is probably cheaper and less powerful than the external chips. For this chip there is no documentation available at all because nVidia refuses it. Without documentation a support cannot be integrated in TVTool!

Some GF4-MX460 cards come with the usual external chips by the way. How to find out which TV chip is on your card have a look here.

here is a tiny solution for now. If i bring it to 640 x480. the screen looks more full to the TM-701L

ofcourse everything looks huge *** now and some things are cut off..but at least screen fits now.
