Thoughts on 4.3" Century USB display?

Has anyone used a display smaller than the typical 7"+ touchscreen LCDs? I'm working on a project that's basically going to amount to a digital gauge display/logger, and I don't want to take out my stereo to do a big complicated in-dash screen.

I saw this and it seemed like it might work:

Resolution is good, and I wouldn't need to power it, but it seems kinda expensive at $160-200. And I suppose I'd prefer a touchscreen if I could find one. Anyone run a smaller display like this? Are there any alternatives out there?
