I've had this screen in my truck for the last 8 years and the screen finally died. I want to revive it, but with a better screen that could be suitable for a pc. Has anyone replaced a head unit screen with something other than its original screen? Just wondering how hard it will be to fit it in the current shell and what other problems I might run into. I dont intend on wiring the screen to the head unit at all, just installing it into the current screens place. And I do realize I need a new screen with same or close to the same dimensions. Any thoughts or tips on this?
