7" LCD Question

Here's the LCD I'd like to get for my future project...

http://www.digitalww.com./LCD_TM_7002S.htm

Now I'm wondering if the $320 package with the Touch Screen kit installed contains everything I need to get the touch screen working with the computer. I don't know if it comes with the interface card, or if you even need one. Also, how do you guys power the LCD in the vehicle?

hijinks21 is on a distinguished road
all you need to do is hook it up to a 12v power source and have a video card that supports TV out.

Allright, this is an obvious question for most people...

What's a 12V power source? Example?

or 12v from the computer power supply, if you want regulated voltage.

that 7" will do just fine. And a 12v source is any positive point off your car.

Live 24/7
-cigarrette lighter
-headunit live 12+
-alot of fuses in your fuse box =)
-straight off battery itself.

igniton on only
-headunit live wire
-some fuses, windshield wipers, defroster, ..etc
-some cars have a live terminal point under the steering wheel.

I for instance will use the "rear windshiled wiper motor" fuse. Mainly because I dont have a rear windshield wiper so this will work perfectly.

The head unit live wire seems easy to get at... but I'm removing the head unit and replacing it with the LCD... so wouldn't that be the easiest choice? Then it'd only be on when the car was on, which is a plus.

Excellent, I'm relocating the headunit to the glove box (current plans at least) but it'll still be accessible. I'm gonna use an Opus DC-DC power supply for the Carputer which will be placed underneath the passenger seat (most likely). Since 12v will be going into that, couldn't I connect the LCD power to that somewhere (if so, where) if I wanted to instead? That way when the ignition was off it wouldn't get power also.
