Now I'm wondering if the $320 package with the Touch Screen kit installed contains everything I need to get the touch screen working with the computer. I don't know if it comes with the interface card, or if you even need one. Also, how do you guys power the LCD in the vehicle?
or 12v from the computer power supply, if you want regulated voltage.

The head unit live wire seems easy to get at... but I'm removing the head unit and replacing it with the LCD... so wouldn't that be the easiest choice? Then it'd only be on when the car was on, which is a plus.

Excellent, I'm relocating the headunit to the glove box (current plans at least) but it'll still be accessible. I'm gonna use an Opus DC-DC power supply for the Carputer which will be placed underneath the passenger seat (most likely). Since 12v will be going into that, couldn't I connect the LCD power to that somewhere (if so, where) if I wanted to instead? That way when the ignition was off it wouldn't get power also.
