That doesn't appear to be a VGA monitor. I believe that HS and VS refer to horizontal and vertical sync.

bugbyte, you are right about vs and hs. i though the same. based on the letters next to the connectors, its an RBG monitor. based on the amount of pins it also seems like VGA, it is defenatly not LVDS nor DVI.
also i assume R/R(C) is red, but which is red and which is red ground ?
same with G or G(Y) for green and B/L for blue ?
also what VGA pin is CVBS ?
there are also 2 GN connectors which is assume is ground, but why 2 ?

Huh? Horizontal and vertical sync are valid VGA signals and RGB completes it. Looks like VGA to me.

The Y and C probably refer to Luminance and Chroma (eg. it's able to do YUV as well as RGB)

CVBS would be Color, Video, Blank and Sync, commonly known as composite video.

Looks like a multiple input format LCD controller. Do we have a model number for either the LCD panel or the controller?

multi-format...thats excellent, even better (;

the controller model is: LV-80R01
the LCD is: AT080TN43

i would really appreciate if you can direct me to which pin should go to which connection (;
thanks in advance.

can the ground for red, green, blue be a single wire ?
or they must be 3 separate ones ?

Sicarius, now that i think about it and look at the connections again. (correct me if i am wrong)
CVBS is composite video, the GN following it is the composite ground.
B, G, R are blue, green, red, the GN following is the RBG ground.
VS, HS are verical sync and horizontal sync.

what do you think are the 3 connectors on the 2nd picture ? (R,G,L)

The R, G, L looks like a two position jumper.

This is pure speculation but it could be either R(right?) or L(left?) connected to ground for horizontal flip?

The document above shows audio so it could also be that (in or out, I don't know).

Further checking shows that Y and C could also be for S-Video.

As for pinouts, my best guess would be that you could connect R, G, B, HS, & VS to their standard location on a VGA connector using the GN under R as a common ground.

My question, at this point, is how do you perform input selection?

Also, could you check the circuit board for a different model #. The one you gave is only bringing up entries for the entire monitor.

yes this controller does have audio, so it is probably R-right L-left G-ground.

the board also have another control board connected to it with 5 SWs; menu, up, down, source, display. that should take care of the input selection.

with the given info i think theres should be no problem wiring this monitor to a VGA and/or composite.

there is no other model number on the board, just a serial number. and yes when i did the search on it i also was able to find the monitor as a whole, however there are a few configurations of embedded devices with this controller board, it just seems as the manufacturers who use this controller board just use the board's model number for their device's model number.

however thank you for your help, you put alot of common sense into the situation (;
