Do anyone have any experience of DSCustoms roof mountable flip-down LCD:s, the 8" DS800RF and the 10,4" DS1040RF?

I will mount the LCD in my Ford Galaxy and use a laptop computer with VGA/S-video/Composite outputs as a carPC with myHTPC software. Primary it will be used for gaming and DVD-movies.

I think both LCD:s has a good price/performance ratio but neither of them has a VGA input, only composite, and I'm afraid I will get a huge loss in picture quality compared to VGA.
I'm also a little bit unsure if the viewing angle and brightness are good enough?

Experiences? Other alternatives?
