Question adding touch screen kit to indash LCD???

has anyone out there added a touch screen kit to a indash LCD UNIT?
I'm torn between buying the xenarc 7" touch lcd VGA and modding a mounting bracket for my car or buying a indash lcd like this one http://www.sounddomain.com/sku/SONXAV7W
and adding a touch screen kit to it.
The problem is I have a '98 BMW z3 and I don't want to make it look shabby. or be cutting up things.

what do you guys think?

oh yeah what brightness is eligable in sunlight or better( convertable)
I appreciate your comments

We apreciate your pressence, welcome aboard, but first things first. Did you search before posting? I take it you did not. Shame on you. Upper right hand corner there is a button that says search. Use it, thats what its there for.

And yes I could have given you an answer but I prefer you find it on your own. Builds caracter.

Good luck.

Don't buy that, it's VASTLY overpriced for what you get

I would get the sony if it falls into your budget for a screen, also if you dont have a head-unit

get the xenarc because its half the price and probably better quality since its vga and it also has touchscreen.

have you also considered the tm-701l from www.digitalww.com?
it has good quality, touchscreen, and is in-dash.
