I Need help installing a TSK?

I've stripped the Taxan monitor down.
Found it has this panel.

Active area of the panel is listed as 211.2x158.4mm

Was wanting order the 10.4" TSK from Armin@DigitalWW.
The active area according to the schematic is 212x159.4mm

That makes the active aprt of the TSK roughly 1mm bigger than the active area of the panel.

Before I order the kit, I want to know if it will cause any probs having the active area of the kit bigger than that of the panel.

The monitor when new did have the option of a touchscreen, and the front of the panel is recessed slightly (arround the metal work), almost flush with the TFT itself.

Would it just be a matter of attaching the TSK to the panel with some double sided tape along it's border outside of it's active area, and making sure that the panel was spaced away from the new console surround so that the touch isn't operated by pressure from the surround (like the retro fitted touch kits did on the *enarc screens)?

I'm hoping it is that simple as I want touch once I get it all together, and then I can lose the trackball once and for all (still connected but hidden away for emergencies, under the rear seat).

TIA all.

As long as nothing is touching on the active area and it is calibrated properly I can forsee no problems

Thank you for your order.

Check your PM for the tracking #. I will ship the kit tomorrow so it will not track until tomorrow.

Thanks,
Armen
