Any way to get rid of Xenarc display messages on startup/resolution change?

I got my Xenarc 700YYV in from dscustoms the other day and got it configured and everything.. Then of course, I disassembled it to start getting the dash work done

When it starts up it says "Portable Display" which is annoying.. I guess if I power the display from the 12V line of the Opus, then it will have video immediately when it comes on and maybe won't show this...

The other thing that is annoying is how it shows the resolution when you change modes.. It's maybe nice for a second or two, then it gets annoying when you are trying to get a very clean look. IMO this should be able to be turned off in the monitor settings, but I can't find a way to do it..

Anyone know a modification that could get rid of these ridiculous messages?

Thanks,

Maybe something internally could do it? There might be a way to disable the OSD circutry entirely.. maybe you could fliip a switch to use the menus.. This would be an acceptable solution for me.

Screen is NOT a Xen#@$ Screen. Please remember that and post accordingly. And that display is hard coded into the controller. Sorry!

Yes sorry I forgot its not a xenarc screen Sorry about that! OEM products... Reminds me of one time this company I was working for was going to OEM something and they needed a demo unit, so they went to the store and bought the same damn thing they were going to be selling and used acetone to take the logos off, and pad printed their own junk onto it. It was faster and cheaper than having the OEM in Taiwan "overnight" (4-day) one. heh. There was a dilbert strip about this once, too.
