UK Folks - which 7" touchscreen VGA and from where?

Hi UK folks - which 7" widescreen touchscreen are you using? I am looking for one which uses a VGA connection rather than a tv style video connection... Where did you get it?
TIA,
P.

hi phottoniq....theres a massive thread called UK Based touchscreen search that should cover loads for you....

But to be honest i havent found an answer to your question im still searching myself...

a good solution is dscustoms.com you get a beautiful 7" X""""c display for 400 dollars which is 247GBP u wont get it cheaper......

If you do a search on that screen youll find its probably the best 7 inch there is..

Other than that there is a lilliput display on ebay....i think the title of the auction says its xenarc screen though....

Good luck

Yep. Use DsCustoms, or DigitalWW.
Haven't bought from DsCustoms, but did buy a touch panel and controller from Armin at DigitalWW. Arrived inless that a week, and all complete, but not tested yet.

Also if you don't want the hassle of overseas ordering, the risk of custom charges etc, and don't mind paying a little bit more, then there is always Falken who always posts here too. He is sellign 7" Serial touch VGA screens at £375+£8 postage. A lot more expensive, but closer to home if things like Warranty are important to you.

I'm from the UK and have a DS700YYV from DS Customs - Fantastic! Great screen and great service from Dave there - highly recommended.

action-replay.co.uk also sell this screen now.. and they are in the UK! Check them out.. (I got my GPS stuff from there and again, great service!)

As I said, all members here
Armin (dealt with) Digital Worldwide
Dave (not dealt with but others have) DsCustoms
Falkin (spoke too about an order for a screen, but couldn't afford in the end, others have bought other bits Action Replay

All sound like budding business men, with a talent for what is needed, in a market that is going to bloom when people realise that they don't actually need £3k options in their new car for seperate DVD, SatNav, and Radio, when a propelry assembled PC with the right bits, and the right software can configure it all and integrate just as well.
