Still working on the price,....
However, this is a special high bright, high res, high view angle display....
I am guessing at least $500 for just the screen with controller board...
(this is not a cheap screen! I can't emphasize this enough)
+ or - 70 degrees on the horizontal viewing angle!
I may just source the touch screen from another vendor (around $100)
I am just trying to see if there is interest in a high quality display, one
that will not be the cheapest thing on the block. The size is not set in
stone, just the first option that I have found.
this module is approx. 8" x 6" and will fit easily in most dash situations.
I will try to post some more info today.
Is this a size that you would be interested in????

there is no way that is a real display of that screen. it is a fake pic put on the actual screen... photoshop style.

Yeah, this is not a "real" picture of what the screen looks like. It is just a promo shot with a fake image on it. Since I don't actually have one, I can't take a picture of it.
I'll see if I can find something a little more usefull.

I wanted to chime in and say that I am interested in this. If you are able to get the amount needed, let me know. I am not in a hurry. It am taking my time on the project and making sure I do everything just exactly the way I want it. I was debating between an 8.4" or a 10.4" screen. The 8.4" would be much easier to work with, while the 10.4" would be easier to see. But with a 350 nit brightness, this should be great! The SVGA res is perfect! So if you do get a final price, keep my email address handy.
