He was out of town this past Thurs. and Fri.
I also, tried to get in touch with him (and got a little short tempered as well) but he did finally get back in touch with me and explained the situation...

ya i'm pretty sure like dccustom and digitalww are just pretty much one man shops. They are helping people out here so try not to jump down their throat if they happen to no respond.
On the other side they should let people know when they are gone.. ie an vacation auto-responder or on the site.. but oh well.

I've been trying to reach him for OVER TWO WEEKS and he simply doesn't respond . If e-mail problems would be the main issue, then I would figure he could get going again in no more than a few days.
If the problem is really so big that it does need to take this long then a response on this forum would be the least he could do. Any home, bar, office and toilet has access to a web browser these days.

I got two responses to PM in three days. I was about to purchase a mounting kit from him and am just waiting on him to tell me where to send the money and how long it will take to get it.

thenominous:
If he is running a business through email, he really should have an autoresonder setup with his mail server. It's easy enough to do with Outlook, even without Exchange. Regardless of SPAM. We use Pure Mail and so far it has worked out really well. (Lots of Happy Vice Presidents) If you were to call Costco to find out their hours of business, I would hope they would have a person or at least an answering machine to give that info. If his ISP doesn't offer that option, maybe it's time to look for a new ISP. I have had pretty good response times from Armen and now looking to buy from him. If he didn't respond in a timely manner, I wouldn't be buying from him. You can always vote with your dollars. This being apparently a "one-man" operation, allowances can be made.
About a week ago I asked Nthai for the dimensions on the monitor he is selling. I have had two responses from him, but no dimensions. I was going to get him the money right away if he had answered my question with the dimensions I needed. I won't be buying it now. Vote with your dollars.
I guess what I am trying to say is that an auto-responder would be a good idea. And I'm not rolling my eyes.

I received a notice from the Greek customs today that my monitor from Armen arrived in Athens. Although I dont live in Athens this is due to customs etc. The monitor was shipped on the 28th of August so that makes this shipping quite fast. Although I ordered the monitor earlier I got a response that the monitor was out of stock, an email that said that the monitor was shipped and another email that there was a problem with the email service. I cannot say that this was the best online order I made, but I would buy again from Armen without any second thought. Considering this is a one man business......I would believe that Armen would be better off acquiring a e-commerce book and maybe let someone create a more proffesional site? Again, I have no probs with Armen and his business...very staisfied customer.

I am back
Between my hard drive crashing and my satellite connection not working when I need it and all the virus problems I was a little overwhelmed. In addition we received a lot of orders for the DWW-7VGA (not complaining ) and assembly on these take time.
I would like to apologize for the delays this caused and I want to thank everybody for being very patient, Thanks.
We always work very hard to make sure that the products we offer are of the best quality and will work in your particular application. After all we gave you the first in-dash VGA Customer satisfaction is our top priority. I've been trying to answer all the emails we received over the last couple of weeks and I should be done with everything tomorrow. If you didn't get a reply just resend your question.
Armen

I bought a 7 inch touch screen from digww and when I turned it on all I got was a white screen. I emailed and got no response for 2 weeks, so I finally opened her up and found a ribbon cable that was not holding a secure connection. It took a lot of electrical tape, but it is holding for now... never did hear back though...

I ordered the indash mounting kit for my 700TS last night around 6:00 PM my time. I just received a delivery notification form fedex that my package will be here Monday. That's good even for a large company. If I get my package on Monday, I will be totaly pleased with Armen.
