xenarc dead monitor

I *just* got my new GAIN 7" touch-screen monitor from Xenarc - ordered from xenarcdirect.com. I ordered the 700-TS (USB version).

It is DOA - I plugged it in, and nothing happens. My multimeter says the power supply is good, my intuition tells me I've been screwed again.

Xenarc's # is busy.

My last GAIN monitor I fried by hooking it up incorrectly (reverse polarity). I bought it from dscustoms.com.

I can't get Xenarc or dscustoms.com to sell me a new control board for my old monitor, and it seems I can't get them to send me a working monitor with a working control board.

I have the money to buy replacement parts and even new monitors, but no one is willing to take it from me!

patience is a virtue, patience is a virtue, patience is a virtue....

Hi!
I'm surprised your having so much trouble with Xenarc. I just got off the phone with them not ten minutes ago and Jimmy promised to ship back my replacement monitor today or tomorrow. I agree that their quality control leaves a little bit to be desired of, but so far their custoemr service has been pretty good. Their tollfree number is (888) 656-6536. I hope I get mine back soon.

I just got back from the UPS store, I shipped mine back, but Jimmy Hu said he couldn't ship me a new one until he got mine back. Did he really ship a replacement for you, before he received your old one?

hmph! Shall I call up and pout?

No, he hasn't shipped one yet. He received mine back on Friday last week and promised to ship my replacement today or tomorow. While I was on the phone with him I suggested that they do a credit card swap. his answer was that they dont do that.
I don't think pouting will help, but give it a try and if it works, maybe I'll try it to.

digitalww is on a distinguished road
If Xenarc will not replace your monitor then email me. I have the exact controller you need.
