No prob, sometimes we all forget a word or two that would make things clearer.

Spooky Video
Seems my touchscreen doesn't work either. Windows detects it for about a second or two, then it goes away
And I've got a single pixel that's permanantly red -- it's near a corner so if that was the only problem I could live with it but it's not
Shame really because it's a great little screen other than that!

I notice you said your touchscreen doesn't work. What symptoms do you have, do they match mine? Namely Windows detects it but it disappears after a couple of seconds?

Mines the non touch screen version, same specs though.
When my screen gets hot when watching normal video, not VGA the buttons stop working and remote, I'm assuming a lose connection. I've tried VGA mode on 4 different computers but no go, I always get Jurasic Park or this scrambling.

That's classic too high resolution/refresh rate scramble, but you say you've already tried lower resolutions?
Try 800x600@60Hz, that seems the most stable on mine. Also make sure you've got no TV connected to yout TV out if you have one, and that TV out is disabled in Windows. This caused me problems initially.

Well, now my touchscreen isn't working, it was nice while it lasted. I think it's a driver issue. I re-intalled the drivers, and now I get a balloon from XP saying that one of my USB devices is not functioning...thanks XP. Never got it to work yet after that first time, trying different computer. After that, Win 2000.
I did notice that when the VGA signal is dropped, as on boot up, the unit reverts to VIDEO 1 mode. But it doesn't do this every time.

Funny you say that -- mine worked first time I plugged it in (with the drivers I already had installed from my old digitalww panel), but then sudnely it went AWOL. Now won't work anywhere.
I don't like this...

I went downstairs and put the drivers on the computer I mean them to go on, the EPIA M-10000. It works a lot better when you use Lilliput's install setup BEFORE plugging in the touchscreen, which I didn't do on the Sony upstairs. Been working several hours now, no problem.
Strange, but when I re-installed the drivers on the sony, I never got it to work on it again. I must not have cleaned up the touchscreen drivers well enough, and re-installed on top of the old ones. It's quite a little process it goes through with XP intalling the drivers, you'd think it'd be just like a mouse.
Man....I LOVE this little screen though, can't wait to get it in my truck!

Touchscreen sounds a little funny
Hearing everyone talk about the touchscreen having so much glare and acting funny makes me think maybe I should buy it and use my DigitalWW touchscreen overlay instead. The glare's not too bad on it, and it seems to work well. From what you guys have seen (those of you that already have it), have you seen how thick the current overlay is in there? Do you think it would accomodate a "normal" glass touchscreen overlay? I guess I'm assuming that some of you will have had contact with the DigitalWW overlay before...
I'm heartened to see that some of you are actually getting your screens though, and that one of you was able to get Ray to replace your defective unit! Course I'm not happy to hear about the funny little problems (like no red, buttons going out, etc.) but it sounds like it might be worth the risk...

I'm considering ordering about 10 units from Lilliput and selling them. If anyone would be interested in buying in a group let me know.

One thing that got my durasic park screen up was an old computer the screen didnt like while changing the reso, it only happend once and then never again, it seems to me this picture poping up is a vga conflict, where this picture comes from who knows but why durasic park? they should put a naked girl if it comes up this often on others lol, mine works fine after the fix on the red channel, i dont have any probs whats so ever, the reso mines on is at 800x600 and have tried other various reso's ie being 1024x768, 1152x864 @85hz and had no trouble, maybe this could be a harware conflict with some vga adapters who knows im not the one to answer for this but it works fine on a gf2 pro card and win xp for me, maybe this is the same deal i had with mine where as i had a ****ty pcb that i had to fix to get my red, maybe there are others who have faults on their pcb too on the vga, either way i think send ray an email and get an exchange to make sure you get what you paid for. Sorry to hear the bad news guys on the ones that seem to have trouble, keep the reveiws coming in so we can get an idea on how faulty some of these units are ect and how manny are good.
