Well, I'm happy that I waited a month before I got it...it looks like the newer screens (purchased after October 20th) are not refurbs. I think you guys who have the GHOST image should return them for an exchange so you get a new screen.
All the problems that everyone has about
:
1) Changing to normal resolutions (800x600, 1024x768) causes ghost image/over range error.
2) Booting and changing resolutions (from BIOS to Windows Logo to Desktop) causes ghost image/over range error
I have had none of these problems and I'm very happy it even works with my widescreen laptop resolution (of course it does does not fit...for some strange reason the videocard only outputs 1024x768 via the vga cable not the 1280x800...strange).
I am starting to believe the refurb story, but it seems so expensive to gut a machine just for a screen, test them...clean them...put them into new cases. It could be just OVERSTOCK from screens that were suppose to go to arcades but were never made. By the way, notice no one is complaining about the pretty Asian woman on the screen...just the Jurassic logo?
