Unhappy

This was the last email I got from extreme audio, on Oct 6th. Apparently, it's just the touch screen monitors that had the accident. From what they say, the non-touch is available now, and the touch screen will be available on the 12th (tomorrow). I called extreme audio in Canada, but the number wouldn't go through. Anybody else is welcome to try, maybe to clear up this mess. 1-604-649-6131 guy's name is Ray.

Another question, have you taken your LCD apart? Does it have any cables to extend. Any pics would be appreciated.

Incase everyone was wondering, the E-bay guy wrote me back...

Hi,

We were told by the manufacturer of this new product that the
latest stocks would only be available on Oct 14.

When the stocks arrive us, we will send you the item immediately.

Sorry for the delay.

So I guess we sit here and wait.....

The latest from Extream Audio on the Lilliput screens. Got this today, Sunday. It doesn't exactly say that he's got them, but it sounds like he'll be shipping in a few days. He's getting 120 of them, so, hopefully this won't be such a pain for those who still want to order one.

I'll keep posting what I get from them...if there's enough interest, which it sounds like there is.

That's funny. Lilliput says they haven't shipped any of the screens out, there is some delay with production. I don't believe the accident story at all. I really hope that Lilliput gets it together and ships these screens soon, there is a huge demand for them.

Has anyone had to wait more than 10 business days to receive a monitor from this fellow? And once you receive them, are they as kick *** bright as they seem in the pictures?

What did you think about the brightness in full daylight?

I agree with you, Dave. This whole thing was a shot in the dark for me, purchasing something directly from Hong Cong. But the price difference between this and the Xenarc kept making it a no brainier. I suspected things would go wrong, but at least I'm heartened the fact that some folks have already gotten theirs. I've waited this long, might as well wait a few more days to see if this is a scam. I hope not, as my whole project is tied up and waiting for this monitor.

The monitor is great guys, I just can't figure out the VGA feature, its my graphics card, its messed up. I don't plan on using this in my car to tell you the truth. I'm building an LCD projector and this LCD looked great. That is why I'm asking about cables inside the monitor. But you guys will love this inside your Car. Its nice and bright compared to Xenarc and for me it allows more light to pass through.

Do you also have problems when the screen gets hot, on mine when it gets hot the sound gets messed up and sometimes it turns it self off and the buttons don't work.
