hooking up laptop to usb touchscreen

would this work...if i just plugged my laptop into my car and then plug the screen in via usb port....some help would be appreaciate...i know later on i'm going full computer...but for now..i was thinking

Well if your laptop has a VGA out and a USB port yes it will work.

not to sound like an idiot here but what does a vga out look like..its a sony vaio laptop...and my dad will be helping me with the install for the computer because he's a wiz but he's away so i really can't ask him.

VGA port is like the blue one shown in the picture below.

its the same port found on your graphics card you plug your monitor into.

And the USB port looks like the one right next to the VGA port.

ok well i forgot to open up the compartment in my laptop and their is a monitor out so i'm assuming that is the vga out...its funny cuase i sound like an idiot but i can do most things with a computer most semi advanced things...lol...its this laptop thing..i love it but everything is different from a desktop...not different just smaller and differnet if you know what i'm talking about
