Mount 7" LCD on folding arm from center console?

I would like for my 7" Lilliput screen (on its way hopefully) to be "hidden" in the center console's storage bin (located in the armrest) when not in use.

So I am looking for some type of folding arm to mount the screen on. Has anyone done or know of anything like this or product that can be modified.

Right now I'm looking at various mechanical arms on lamps? other ideas?

Thanks

That's pretty cool.

Doh! I'm an idiot. I forgot to mention that the storage bin is in the armrest, so it's not on the dashboard portion of the console, sorry. (edited orig post)

So I need something to lift out of the bin and rotate/move the screen forward, otherwise it's a bit to close. Want it at arms length.

Thanks

Have a look at the link below:

Sure you could knock something up using some kind of fold up pole and one of their mounts.
