Display works fine, currently have touchscreen issues which I just finished tracing back to a problem with the 9pin->VGA,USB cable (the white USB D+ wire didn't make a clean contact no matter how much much fidgeting w/ the 9-pin connector). This connector was also a source of frustration with regard to a clean video connection. Sometime in the next few days I am going to cut these connectors off and put some molex connectors on instead. Will update on how this turns out.

FYI for others struggling with the same problem, I would plug the USB touchscreen cable in, and Windows would bring up an "unrecognized device" message. I'm sure the drivers were installed correctly on the PC.

Problems with the screen retaining the touchscreen settings and the brightness/colour settings.

I have no problems although i don't have it up and running in the car yet. I have tested it from the EPIA M10000 onboard video and the touchscreen works fine. I had some fuzzyness (rolling waves) and ghosting at first. To fix it i ran the monitors two auto adjust features. All fixed now

I will keep posted if i find any problems when i put it in the car

As I suspected, the 9-pin connection was the cause of my problems. I measured ~130 ohms across the connector on the white USB Data+ wire (where it should have been ~ 0 ohms ) I also found the connection between the perimeter shielding wraps to be sloppy, with much fiddling required to establish connectivity. I just finished replacing both ends with Molex connectors (pics to follow shortly), and the problems have all gone away.

Other than those issues, I am very happy with the display. Car install to come in a few weeks

I just got mine from extemeaudio (off ebay, $309 shipped), 3days from Hong Kong to the US. Minor problems involving touchscreen drivers, all fixed now. I would have bought from DSCustoms or DigitalWW, but I haven't seen the particular product in stock in either place for months. Sorry guys.

Touchscreen stopped working after less than 10 hours total use.
Had nightmares that I would have to fix it myself - spoke to Oliver at Cartft where I purchased it and he replaced it in little over a week with a brand new one.

Can't get fairer than that - Obviously fingers crossed it doesn't happen again!

Screen good brightness for daytime - I think if it was dimmer then I would struggle to see it - even in cloudy old Britain. Screen very bright if driving down country roads at night - but I usually turn it off if I'm just listening to music. (and the great thing is the touchscreen volume still works )
Fine for normal night driving around a town or anywhere with streetlighting IMO.

Screen is very clear!
