Has anybody got 800x480 to work with ver2 xenarc?

I have two screen that I have been trying one is a older version xenarc and one is the newer, but not the newest gain screen. The LCD panle is the same and as claimed but gain should be the same as the 800x480 for the xenarc. As many of you have found the first version is great and you can get a very very sharp 800x480 image from it. The problem then arrises when you try to do that on version 2 of the screen. It doents seem to accept the default timings for 800x480, it accepts 720x400 and 852x480 but neither are the real native resolutions.

I have managed to get the timings of the screen to a point where I can display an 800x480 image on every pixel of the screen an I expected it to be really sharp but no? it thinks it 720x400, and is not good quality.

Can at least one person tell me if they have managed to get the second version to work with a good image at 800x480 and your timing parameters for it.

So I take it that nobody has ever got this version2 screen to work? I gues the screen to get is the first version then. Ah well.

Thats the main reason I ditched my version 2 screen and kept the old Xenarc. I'm wondering if Lilliput screen can display 848X480 perfectly like the first version Xenarc.

If Lilliput does cproaudio I think that Gain are going to have a problem selling even one screen in the future. I have contacted the manufacturer and supplier to see if we can find a way of turning off the auto detect to clean up the image, ill get back to all with any info I get!
