Lilliput vga settings

i purchased a lilliput vga screen which arrived last week and strugled to get it working, i remembered seeing someone use Powerstrip on there vga lcd so i installed Powerstrip rebooted and had a perfect picture, i didn't have to touch any of the powerstrip settings. i tried the screen on another pc but couldn't get anything better than 800x600 with scan lines even with powerstrip installed.
so i went back to the first pc uninstalled powerstrip to try to prove this fixed the screen when rebooted the same only 800x600 with scan lines anything higher and you can barely see the picture, re-installed powerstrip but it didn't fix the problem and now it doesn't show the boot screens and only comes on once windows has loaded.

I am using a Asus Geforce FX5600 graphics card, Nfll Ultra Motherboard, and Barton 3000cpu

any help thanks.

Wahey!!! Someone near me!!!

I wish I could help with this problem but not actually having a screen yet kinda makes that difficult......... Certainly though, if its connected via the VGA it should show the POST, thats one thing you can be sure of. I suspect your GFX card may be defaulting to a silly refresh rate, try lowering it to 60Hz, other than that, I am stuck
