newbie having display problems with sony flip out

I have a sony xav7w flip out screen that I currently just use for dvd viewing, but im now trying to install a computer. I have a mini-ITX with windows xp. I'm using the composite video output to get the signal from the comp. to the sony head. My problem occours after windows loads, the screen starts rolling real fast and has lines in it. The display is set at 640X480.

What am I doing wrong?

check you are sending the right type of signal - will need either PAL or NTSC, try using one or the other...
