VGA Lilliput screens - Extreme Audio Electronics (ebay)
After reading all the posts, I took the plunge about 10 days ago and ordered one at £139 plus the touchscreen, it arrived on Friday last, within 3 days as indicated by the email from Extreme Audio Electronics, the contents were complete and apart from the device drivers not working for the touchscreen (I got them from digitalww downloads) the unit worked perfectly.
I do sometimes see the Jurassic park logo when I was testing the screen on different VGA modes but it wasnt a problem when the unit was displaying what was on my laptop, colours are clear, screen is bright and touchscreen works perfectly, only problem is my laptop doesnt go down below 1024x768 so everything is tiny, however my PDA stylus works very well instead of my digits, should be OK with the normal PC.
I've ordered the components to build a Mini-ITX system now, rather than bidding for a second-hand one, I prefer the security of buying new and warranted parts, I've been bitten too many times with PC components so hopefully my new MP3, CD, DVD, unit will be up and running soon enough.
Finally, including postage, I think I paid about £185, there were no charges for customs, EAE had marked the package as a computer monitor and in summary I would definately buy from them again!
best regards!
