Allbrite lcd HELP
I want to know who's using Allbrite LCD and any of dicon controller boards.
Do you have to use powerstrip to set the resolution or it work fine for you.
For some reason i can't get the picture to fit my 10.4" lcd, because controller board sets it for 12" and picture is slightly bigger than my screen.
I know all chips are programmed the same way, how come im the only one who has this problem.
Please, let me know if you are using the same setup (allbrite lcd and dicon controller board) to solve my problem. Its really important.

ACtually, only 27 of the 30 are going to the 41pin hirose. I guess a few of the grounds are connected together.

There are only 2 pins that you need to worry about, the v and h syncs. All the others are power/ground and color.

Which Dicon controller are you using? If it's the LCD1024E, I too had to use powerstrip to get it to fit the screen. If it's the 1280EI, then it should fit perfectly.

I'm confused - if its 800 pixels across to complete a line
why does the controller need to be power stripped?
why should it treat the 12 inch screen different from the 10
speculating wildly- some number of pixel clock cycles of delay after a horz/nert sync pulse?

"why should it treat the 12 inch screen different from the 10"
because the image is projected for 12" lcd and it only can be squeezed in by powrstrip to fit 100% in 10.4" lcd
If it was a resolution matter then why would they state for what size of the screen controller board is made? LCD is not ctr monitor...its treaded differently.
"speculating wildly- some number of pixel clock cycles of delay after a horz/nert sync pulse?"
I wish everything was that simple

Guys, a 6.5" vga screen will show the exact same image as a 12.1" vga screen because they are both 640x480. The only difference is that the larger lcd has larger pixels. It's all a matter of resolution and timing!
Did you test all the jumper settings I sent you?

Those are lcd1024E jumpers:

and those are yours lcd1280EI:

they are totally different, therefore its impossible to base my settings on yours.

yes, exactly my attempted point
however
if the controller setting says for eg 12inch and firmware assumes this 12 inch screen must be a 1024 screen so the controller scales the image from 800 to 1024
-that I can understand
