smallest touch screen size?

I havent been able to find a touch screen smaller than 7" for a computer. Does anybody know of a company who might make this? I cant fit a 7" moniter from either lilliput or xenarcdirect into my double din area in the center console.

You can get a 5.6" touch overlay from digitalww (I used to use one of these), and 5.6" TFTs are fairlt easy to come by (if you don't want VGA).

Um...that is the Lilliput 7" screen, so you won't be able to fit that, as you said in your original post! I'm currently having fun fitting that same unit in my double-din myself. Unless I file the screen or my dash down (gulp!), it's going to have to be recessed a couple inches into the dash. Bit naff, but in a way might be quite good, as it'll reduce and sunlight glare!

well the dimensions of that particular lilliput moniter that i posted are smaller than all the other ones ive seen.

all the other ones have been 192x122x26, but this one is a lot smaller. the edge around the lcd is a lot narrower. i think it will still require some filing as i expect it to, but the other ones wouldnt fit at all no matter waht i did.

VGA gives a much sharper picture than TV out. It is an all around better option, and a must if you are using GPS.

GingerPrince, you are right, the damn screens don't quite fit in a double din, mine is about 2 cm to tall. I'm currently trying to decide if I want to cut away some of my dash (it's a removable piece) or mount it somewhere else.

From the looks of it digitalww have got their dimensions wrong on the dot points for the lilliput screen
"-Dimensions: 165.0(W) x 106(H) x 10.5(T) mm"
They should be: 187(W) x 126 (H) x 26 (T) mm, have a look at the linked image on the right hand side of the site, or click here:

Unless I'm reading something wrong?
