GAIN 7inch Touchscreen Owners

Those of you with the serial cable version, and are using a usb->serial adapter, could you please post which brand adapter you are using? I bought the one from computergeeks a few mths ago, and I have never been able to get it to work. It installs, windows sees it as a usb->serial adapter on com1, but the touchscreen config utility never finds the touchscreen. and I am having a lot of trouble finding a ~15ft serial cable.

I got a radioshack converter and it worked wonderfully, provided you don't run it off an unpowered hub.

Currently I use a 4 port keyspan adaptor that works wonderfully.

Thanks, i ended up going with a 10foot serial cable from bestbuy. My friend works there and got a pretty heafty discount on it. Surprisingly it was JUST long enough. Now I gotta figure out what was wrong with that USB adapter :\
