Maybe an alternative LCD
While I was searching, I came across this.

doesn't look to bad...but I'd ask for the specs before buying...and see if a touch screen can be an option!

Yeah, doesn't look too bad. Says it's VGA, it has 800x480 resolution (it's listed as 2400x480, but they list the RGB seperately in the horizontal plane to make it sound better so divide it by 3 to get 800)

As I said, looks pretty good.
