The Mother of all in-dash 7" VGA Modules

Hi,
I take it there are quite a few buyers/interest group for the new
7" in-dash motorized unit around there..

I've been trying to buy one for my company, for development work in the recent months to no avail...

I orginally contacted the actual Taiwanese maker of this supposed unit
* www.gain.com.tw
* http://www.globalsources.com/gsol/Ge...ion=GetProduct

and we discusssed the end of semptember as a viable delivery date for sample units...

I've been bugging them ever since to no avail....
Can any one shed some light on this subject or point me to some other manufacturer that will provide me with the an Indash unit?

News Flash!

OK,
Just to keep you guys updated.
I've talked to a Mr. Jack Lee from gain.com.tw....

He apologized for having the delays with the in-dash LCD modules.
He said they encountered many problems and certificaion delays with the units...

The official word, straight out of the horses mouth is that they are producing 500 Units at this point to be sold at the end of December / Start of January.

so I guess all of you dwcustoms.com clients will get the in-dash units pretty soon now
