Lilliput impressions...FWIW
Long time lurker, first time poster.
Based on info found here, I bought a Lilliput from the eBay guy, Extreme Audio Electronics (aka electronicar) on Nov 18.
The screen arrived in 3 business days as promised, but with an extrememly fuzzy picture and a DOA touchscreen. Also, the screen had the Jurrasic Park ghost image. After 3 days of messing with it, I sent it back. Ka-ching...$28 postage back to Hong Kong.
About a week later I get a notice saying my screen is on its way back. 3 business days later, I get a new screen. I know its a new one because now I have the famous ghost lady appearing on my screen. Touchscreen works, no problems with the calibration getting wacky after a few minutes.
Decent screen, decent initial price, but I think you play Russian Roulette with the eBay guy because many of his screens seem to have problems. If you get a good one right off the bat, great; otherwise you get screwed on postage to HK. If only digitalww had had them in stock at the time.

True!
Sounds about right actually, I got one of the good screens...ZERO problems with it. Amazing product for such a price, but as you said...you are either lucky with it or not so lucky. That is what ebay feedback is for I guess if he doesn't exchange it for you.

Lilliput Ghost image
Had my Lilliput for about one week now. Screen is perfect. Trying to get the calibration right on the touch screen though. Had not had a problem until last night. I tried to use Hibernate. Normally I just shut down completely. After I had made it Hibernate I attached a standard keyboard to do some configuration. When I started the screen I got a message saying the hybernation image file was corrupt and windows would reboot. Then the Jurassic Park image showed itself. After I rebooted it was fine. Have cycled power off/on 8 or 10 times, and have not seen again. I believe it had something to do with attaching the keyboard while it was down. After it booted fresh with keyboard, there has not been a problem.

The ghost image is no big deal. It only comes up when the monitor loses sync with the computer. I heard it's not really a burn-in on the LCD, but rather a test image from one of the controller chips on the board. I tried to get a picture of it, but it's fast and fleeting.
I've been living with the monitor in my car now for about a week. If you try to hibernate, it appears that the touchscreen will lose it's calibration settings. A reboot, rather than a recalibrate fixes this. If you shutdown normally, instead of hibernate, it doesn't happen at all.
The Xenarc seems like a nice screen, but my, that's a lotta dough for an itty-bitty screen.

You might want to try newer drivers. Newer and beta drivers are posted here:
http://www.egalax.com.tw/Download.htm
These drivers fixed my "prevent standby" problem.
Cheers,

That looks like they would work on all the touchscreens. I will test it with my xenarc tonight.
That website should get stickied.
