Noticeable differences between old/new Xenarc's

I'm going to be buying a 7" lCD display very soon and have realised that its down to Lilliput or Xenarc. There have been many posts on the Lilliput and pics show that its is much brighter and whiter than the Xenarc however I have seen many unsatisfied customers posts as well. The Xenarc has beed revised and apparently is slighly brighter than before (280nits up from 260). Has anyone seen both the new and old Xenarc's? and is there any noticeable differences to distinguish the two. I will probably go with th Xenarc but would want the new version and not a left over previous version.

i've had both and the newer one is definitely brighter, be sure when you buy it that you get the newer connector as well, some places i called didn't have the newer connector but if you are going shell out the cash, might as well have the most recent model, should be silver case, black buttons and 20 pin connecter, usb touchscreen...
