Official Sony 5" Psone lcds for $32.25 at Target, YMMV
Ok so Target is clearancing the official Sony Psone lcds (5") for $32.25 in my area. I picked up 2, but one had a bad ccfl so I returned it. I am getting more soon. This deal is already hot with the RGB mod, but now even hotter at this price! Serious YMMV on it, but it is worth a shot!
Here's mine with composite in (Black Hawk Down DVD)

I guess I'll go check my local target tomorrow.
If not, would you resell? (IE: buy a few extra extra and sell them here?)

I picked up an Intec PSOne LCD for $29.99 + shipping at KBToys online. It uses the Multi-AV to connect to the PSOne. I've seen the VGA mod, but it didn't look as if it were for the Multi-AV connector. Anybody know if the pinouts are the same or know if the mod can be adapted. I've hooked it up through the composite in, and it doesn't look too bad.

Hey, Nice find. I'll be waiting at the door of my local Target when it opens this morning. If they have the cheap screens I'll try to get a couple extra.

controller is attached via a short flat ribbon cable, you would need a custom cable made to distance the round pcb from the rest.
And for the price of the cable and lcd, you're better off buying a Xenarc or VGA compatible lcd

I wouldn't be using it as a screen for my car comp. I'd like to improve my rear facing /front facing IR camera setup
