Show your character LCD Installs
Hello overyone. I've been looking around on here for a while now and I've been searching through the posts every day. I am looking for some pictures on character LCD's instaled in peoples cars, not the large video ones. I don't have the space to put a TFT in the dash of my Volvo and I want it to be flush and not stick out with brackets so I am most likely going to choose a 4X40 LCD, and if I do find an install post about 80% of the image links I find are dead.
EIO.COM does not currently have any 4X40's listed
Crystalfontz.com only has a yellow backlit one, I'm not big on the yellow backlight, I'd prefer green, I will still go with the yellow if I have to.
I've looked around and have found a few more LCD's but they're either not backlit or all grey like a calculator LCD.
If you could show me pics of your installs and tell me what your running for software to navigate that would be great. And also if you could tell me where you got your LCD from.
