Sorry you missed the t-shirt :P
I was trying to get some info off the Xenarc site and they have this memo plastered on the top of the home page. Wasn't sure if you all had seen it already or not, but the new products look interesting. I for one can't wait to see the motorized 7" VGA.

The 7" motorized monitor was a prototype. The input plug is so huge and deep that it probably wont 75% of the cars out there. I have made a request to have either a pigtail or recess the plug farther into the chassis so that when the plug is plugged in, the unit will still be shallow enough to mount in most cars out there.
The 8" VGA touch screen is also a prototype. The native resolution is 640X480 but will scale to XGA. It's about 300-400 nits. Currently theres no enclosure so they had it behind a picture frame.
The flip down VGA touch screen is also a prototype. It's basically the same as the 700TS but modded to be a flip down.
I didnt get the chance to to goto the TRC booth or the VIA's PR event but I got a Xenarc T-shirt though. That was cool.

cproaudio..... Did you catch the aspect ratio of the 8" VGA screen. I am hoping it is more squarish than the current crop of 7" screens.

An 8" Xenarc 4:3 VGA touchscreen..... this could be my dream screen. Will have to wait for the specs once it is released.
Thanks CPRO

I could replace my 10.4" vertical with an 8" horizontal, along with a DIN CD/DVD/fm/IDE drive.....

I called them and they won't be selling it until April 2004 and they have no specs as far as viewable area or anything. If they already have the raw screens and are just making the case, do we even need the case for in dash mounting?? I just want them to just sell me the screen, wires hanging out and all, so I can mount it myself. I don't care about a pretty frame.
