Lilliput flickering issues

I'm currently running the 7" lilliput off my laptop in 800x600 at 85 hz. I'm seeing a white flicker that randomly occurs, sometimes flashing through the screen, other times engulfing it in complete whiteness. Occassionally the image will come back, other times it won't. To get it back i need to cycle through the inputs or power on/off. The flickering seems to be the worst at 75 hz, slightly more stable at 60 and a little better at 85.
I'm new here and have done some searching but I haven't come across a procedure of things to do to correct this.

Also every time I change a setting it's over range and I have to cycle through the inputs.

Maybe I should wait until my M10000 comes but I want to see if this monitor has issues or its just software.

If you used the cig-lighter then it might be dirty power, at least I'm having the same flickering type issue (not the white-screen)...

Nope its still using AC power in my house. I was planning on using the cigarette lighter, but I guess I need to run power from the opus now.

I had a similar issue. After switching power to direct from the battery loss of sync issues went away.

When I took apart my xenarc to install it in my car I had the screen go white many a time. This turned out to be because the internal monitor connection from the screen to the inverter board came loose so it could be just a loose connection.
