monitor flicker

I cant seem to get rid of this awful monitor flicker.

I have a lillyput 7in and it flickers like crazy. Not sure why. The first one i had didnt flicker, but it died. This one seems to be ok in all aspects except it flickers like crazy. I think it has something to do with the touchscreen because when i unplug the usb cable it stops. I downloaded newer drivers for the touchscreen, but now when i unplug the cable it doesnt stop the flicker.

I can also get the flicker to stop for a short moment when im in the device manager and click "scan for hardware changes". So im thinking it may be a software issue/usb issues?

I got some ferrites for my monitor cable because at first i thought that was the cause of the flicker but that didnt work at all.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Mine flickers like crazy also. Its completely random, although I haven't tried unplugging the USB cable. Sometimes mine goes completely white and the image dissapears. Refresh rate doesn't matter, although 85 seems to be slightly more stable. I don't want to put a monitor in my car that is this unstable.

It's in my house, so this flickering may have nothing to do with the power source.

that cuts out grounding issues also, what i thought was the problem initialy. So, this has to be a problem with the actually LCD or software.
