seems to be the most competitively priced and available company for screens out there, but tehre seems to be allot of posts here about problems with them. is that just ebcause fo wide distribution or can i get something ebtter for my money?

Got mine from that guy, very happy with the quality, the 9 pin connector is a bit quirky and tempermental though. its tough to beat that price for a 7" VGA TSK of that quality, but check out digitalww, thats your other option.

basicaly, im asking if the brand is good. i did a touch screen project in my CS class in highschool, and i just dont want to repeat the order of buying a blank screen, mounting and wiring it, and puting a TS on it.

Awesome screen and especially service. I am currently having problems that I have inflicted upon myself and electronicar is doing everything they can to help me fix it despite the fact that the sale is already over. I've had mine for almost 5 or 6 months now and they want to help me...... BUY IT BUY IT BUY IT The quality is excellent and if you get the touchscreen that is very good, pretty acurate not too many problems.... easy install.
