Just wondering, I've seen a few of these in cars but can't figure out how this can be integrated into a carPC for MP3 playing, is there anyway to have some input buttons as well to scroll through playlists?

What software would be needed for this (basically is there a VFD for dummies page somewhere lol).

Girder works with these as well as wiamp. Thats about all I know but thats the fun of this hobby the learning. Keep an eye on my other web site because when I get some decent links I'll be putting them there...

Winamp - sounds like a winner as thats on the drive anyway. Mmmm, run one of these in parrallel with MediaCar?

Your home site looks interesting Terran, I have Sky+ myself and find it useful, but as you say it doesn't do an awful lot comapred with a PC derived system.

The only thing Sky + has going for it is 5.1 sound - hence I may have to get it any way when I use the films again... how ever I can't any justification for them at the mo... nothing but tat. I work on the basis I can buy the DVD instead - any way I digress.

Thanks all for the suggestions - doesn't look like there is much to choose from out there....
