"Flickering" on my 7" wide lcd (S-VHS)..

This is kind of hard to explain, but I'll give it a shot! When using my carputer, I get two flickering lines on my monitor that goes up on the picture.. This happens only when the signal comes from the carputer.. The picture from my built-in tv-tuner is good (no flickering).. I've tried to run a new s-vhs cable (out in the open) from my dash to my trunk, but still no result.. I've grounded both my M-10000, and my PSU (morex).. They're connected into the grounding for my inverter.. Any suggestions?

Try grounding the display to the same point as the rest of your equipment.

Either the actual ground, or a wire from a metal bit of the display

Edit: My screen is "flickering" a bit at the moment, and it's not grounded to the same point. I'm gonna ground it to the same point as the rest at the weekend when I install my Opus, hopefully that will remove the flickering/lines on my screen

Hmmm.. Think that would help, when the tv-signal is good? Ah well, can't harm to try it .. Another thing though.. How can i automatically turn on my monitor when windows is ready? Kind of like the DTR-service (Amplifier Remote - Raises the DTR pin on the serial port, to turn on the amplifier) Would be quite cool.. I'm not talking about just giving the monitor power, but turning it on..

This is almost definitely the problem, then If it's only when the computer is hooked up/turned on

If the screen automatically turns on when it gets power..then you can use the DTR thing. Otherwise....pass!

No, it's constant flickering / lines..

The screen doesn't automatically turn on when power is applied, have to press the button.. Not that it's that much of a problem, only want to do this because of the "coolness" (or something like that)..

Anyways.. Thanks for your help man!
