TM-701L Touchscreen Issue

Hey what's up, i bought a tm-701l from digitalww, everything was working fine until this morning. Last night was the first time I left it in hibernate overnight (I would put it in hibernate for a short period of time 10-30 minutes, sometimes it wouldn't work when it resumes and I just restart the computer). But It doesn't seem to be working at all now. I've tried installing a couple different versions of the drivers and the drivers do install but the actual touchscreen on the lcd doesn't seem to be responding. Does anyone know if the touchscreen could just stop working like this? I've tried emailing digitalww, maybe he will see this. Thanks.

Jason

Does the touch screen software detect the USB Controller at all?

If it does then this could just be a loose connector and should be easy to fix.

Let me know

Ok Now let see if the controller senses when you touch the panel.

Controller is mounted inside the housing, on the back panel. If look through the front of the housing towards the left side of the back panel you should see the controller. Now with the USB cable plugged in touch panel and look at the controller. You should see an LED light up every time you touch.

Is the LED lighting up?

Ok now let’s check the connectors. Open up the back plate and check that both connectors are plugged in to the controller. If they are plugged in then close the back panel and open the actual monitor. Unscrew the 2 screws on the back of the actual monitor housing. Once they are open follow the touch screen cable to see if it is connected to the panel.

Let me know.
